Steve Bradshaw

Lead Developer

Hi! I'm Steve and I left the University of Wales, Swansea with a First Class 'MMath' Maths degree.

My working life started as a software developer for Autonomy, bringing together their range of products by developing the user-interface for versions 3 & 4 of their Portal-in-a-Box product.

I'm experienced in a range of technologies, including:

  • Web scripting: PHP, ASP, .NET, JSP, Perl, jQuery, Python, Django
  • Web standards: XHTML, CSS, HTML, XML, AJAX, RSS/Atom, Javascript
  • Application building: Java, C, C++, C#
  • Database software: SQL (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access), Autonomy, MongoDB
  • Operating systems: Windows, Unix
  • E-commerce: Paypal, Barclaycard ePDQ, WorldPay
  • Content management: Drupal, Expression Engine, phpBB, WordPress
  • Agile Development: MVC, Unit testing, ORM, Mocking, Dependency Injection

My goal at Coracle is to write software that helps our users by being simple to use. My message to users is 'the more you use it, the more we'll iterate it to improve it'. Please get in touch if you think there's something we should look at.

Coracle has delivered an excellent framework for a highly scalable programme of work. Their knowledge and intuitive sense of what we needed, gave us a head start.
