I'm Mary and I graduated from Edinburgh University with MA (Hons) in History before starting work in television production.
An interest in organisational management led me to a position at the Palace of Westminster for the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) where I was responsible for co-ordination of parliamentary delegations visiting the UK and British MP’s visiting other parliaments.
This combination of experiences has given me an interest in reaching our learners through podcasts (Coracle has clocked up over 10 million downloads over the past 10 years!) and today I'm working with the team on a range of media types to help learner engagement.
Apart from the work at Coracle, I'm the mother of 4 wonderful children, teach Nordic Walking and am also researching for a book on the First World War and the clergy. If you asked me what my absolute passion is, then I'd have no hesitation in referring you to my success on the ski slopes as a competitive mogul skier. Happy days!
